It's About Time!

It's been 2 years since I have updated this blog! I thought I had better just in case there is someone actually following this thing.
Not too much has changed. Dean is now 4 years old. He has only become more opinionated and stubborn, if that is even possible. He reminds us daily that two Type A personalities are not supposed to reproduce. J/K - We love that boy and it's his personality that makes him so unique.
Since it has been so long I downloaded some photos from November that we did with my family. It was freezing cold but it was worth it. I love the snow in the background. Dean for the most part didn't even realize it was cold. The first picture is Mike chasing me because he wanted to do a kissy photo, and I don't do those.

This is my little cowboy. He loves his boots and belt buckle. Mind you, IFA is one of his favorite stores.

This is the whole Schwenck Family. I love Dean's pose in this one.

Family Photo

Dean finding some eggs.
Dean knew exactly what to do.
He didn't want to dye any eggs. He did like smashing them, though.

Christmas 2009

We had to sit in the car a few minutes while waiting to chop down a Christmas Tree. To entertain Dean, Mike let him "drive."

Mike is officially Clark Griswald.

Mike made a little hill in our backyard for Dean. He loved it.

My cute boy.

Random Photos

Totally Dean. I try to take a cute picture of him and he tries to give me toys.

We went for a drive to look at autumn leaves and wound up at Bear Lake. It was awesome! Dean being a happy boy. Mind you, he had just thrown up in the car so now he's feeling good.
Dean at Lowes.

We have never seen him do this before. He didn't nap the entire day and suddenly he was asleep on the floor with his shoe on his hand. He's special.

Halloween 2009!

Dean being cute.

Every year with Mike's parents we go to Logan and get pumpkins. We then go visit Grandma and Grandpa Eames' graves and decorate them. This year cousin Tucker got to come.

Another pumpkin patch. There's just never enough pumpkins.

The best costume ever!

Fun With Cousin Tucker

Dean is trying to stick the sprinkler down his shorts. Aww, tender.
Tucker doesn't like the camera, I guess.

Complete Randomness

These are just some random photos that we liked.

This is a little spot above our coat closet. Mike thought it would be fun to put Dean up there. Now the problem is we have a fear that Dean will go up there by himself, which he would.
We got tired of rotating the one carseat so we bought another one. Dean loved it so much he strapped himself in it in our living room.
Dean loves his bathtime. He really loves his foam soap.
Enough said.
Our kitchen was a nasty color of pink. So, needless to say we painted. Dean thought it would be fun to climb the ladder all by himself when Mom wasn't looking and help Dad. Stinker.

Pioneer Day

The whole family at our house for the holiday.

Mike loves his fire.

Dean was too tired to smile.

Jason, Valerie, and Jess's Mom, Cindy.

Like father like son - they both love fire.

Drive-In

Dean finally went to his first movie - The Land Of The Lost. It is probably one of the worst movies ever made. Meanwhile, Dean had a blast in the dirt.
Dean would sit in the dirt and spread it all around, trying to show off for a three year old girl next to us. I don't think it impressed her.

We moved! This is the new place in Clinton.

In the process of moving, Dean helped out with the tape.

The U-Haul was his favorite. He was really good at unloading the items we just put on.

It was a long day.
